The Michigan Ryusyokai Karate Club offers a unique approach to training. All ranks train together, with senior students helping junior ranks at each class. This reinforces fundamentals for experienced practitioners. Newer participants also learn by example as much as direct instruction.

CHARACTER

We value good character at the dojo and bullying will not be tolerated. Michigan Ryusyokai Karate Club is not a sport martial art or a fitness program, although the program is challenging and rigorous. Our focus is on traditional Okinawan Karate Do, with an emphasis on self-improvement, life protection and fellowship. Students should be familiar with the Dojo Creed Page and Rules.
